Freespool (9/14/2008)First off, there was some sort of metal thing on the inside of the spool that would rub when the spool was up, he had to file it down. Also the drag seems kinda sticky. It is very light though. I have no experience with the smaller ones.

I am still learning, but they are very cool. The spools are interchangeable with the body, more or less you can have a larger or smaller spool as an option and it fits the same body. Kinda the same principle as the Thompson Center Encore. I only fish the little spool, and have fell in love with it. The rotator is the same mechanism that drives helicoptor blades, but I am not smart enough to know what that means. I have 3 of them and only caught fish on the one that has 10# on it, so I haven't experienced the really light drag yet.
