Not enough info for anaccurate estimate. Do you need pilings installed? How about the electrical work? How long is the run from your house to the pier (for proper wire gauge)? Check the phone bookunder marine contractors and get some estimates. Just make sure they are reputable andthe estimate includes all the work. Also, make sure that the pilings are driven at least 8' into the sand. Somefly-by-night installers will cut the pilings off at the top if they hit hard pan.Another option is to get someone to sink the pilings, someone else to run the wires/conduit form house to lift, and an electrician to do the final connections. You'll save a lot of money if you run the wires/conduityourself vice paying an electrician to do the digging. Just ask the electrician whatgauge wires are required. Most of them would rather not digor get wet running the wire under the pier.Also, check around with your neighbors for references.
