Default RE: Question about season?

Shiznik (8/7/2008)During October the water will still be warm. I believe once the water temp hits 63, you will probablly be rising off a lot of tackle. You do have good chances on the Bull Reds and Catfish and Rays will be your main takers. Not many guys on the beach in our area in the winter, guess they don't want to foul hook a Snowbird. LOL!

Thank you for the info!

love in KY, so I am used to fishing in the winter when temps can reach -5 degrees! I fish for walleye and sauger on the river, and they spawn in the winter.

Here is another question:

Do party boats and charter boats still run in the winter months? I know snapper season closes, but are there aother fish that can be caught in the winter-time?
