RE: Cheap People
About 6 years ago I was laid off(computer job outsourced to India) in Austin TX and had to move to Tulsa OK and deliver pizza for a year to pay the rent.
In north Tulsa which is the 'hood' for those who do not know the area. I once had 17 deliveries in a row, it was snowing and not 1 penny tip.
Living off tips teaches you to pay for service, also to spot the non tippers. A crack dealercovered inbling and ho's will tip big to impress the 'ladies'. Same guy would give you nothing if alone.
I never stooped to what some of my fellow delivery drivers did (but was sorely tempted):$1 worth of pennies thrown on a non-tippers lawn will get his attention next time he mows I am told.
If you cannot afford to eat out and tip for service, don't go. Eat at home: and if you get a pizza delivery in the snow/rain/heat tip the guy too.
